Qualifications:

  • 1-7 years of experience as an Electrical Designer.
  • Associates degree or Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge in AutoCAD and REVIT design software.
  • Knowledge in load calculations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with Clients.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills.

Job Summary:

  • The Client is seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to fill a mid-senior level position.

This position includes design production and has long term leadership potential.

  • The Client is experienced in all types of electrical systems with particular qualifications in evaluating or designing the following:
  • Power distribution, substations and generating plants.
  • Building power.
  • Standby generators.
  • Uninterruptible power supply (UPS).
  • Photovoltaic (solar) power.
  • Special power for computers, including local area network (LAN).
  • Communications, telephone, data, voice outlets, fiber optics, and wire management.
  • Interior lighting with controls and dimming.
  • Exterior lighting with controls for roadways, parks, aprons, parking lots.
  • Intercom, paging, and nurse call.
  • Fire alarm and detection.
  • Building security and access.
  • Prison and jail security and controls.
  • Security electronics, duress alarms, card access, and facility control panels.
  • Security fencing and automatic access gates.
  • Intrusion detection (IDS).
  • Closed circuit television (CCTV).
  • Clock and program.
  • MATV distribution.
  • Energy management.
  • Pump station power and controls, SCADA.
  • Grounding and lightning protection.
  • Arc flash and fault current studies.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $58,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
